Please note that travel insurance is not a private health plan. It covers emergency treatment in state hospitals (or private hospitals if this is not practical on medical grounds), doctor’s bills, medication, repatriation, and the like. Where possible the EHIC must be used. Non-emergency surgery as a result of an accident is not covered and must be arranged when you get home.
The policy is a good quality plan designed by MPI Brokers. It is underwritten by Optimum Underwriting Ltd as underwriting groups of Groupama, one of the largest insurance companies in the UK and Europe.
All claims are handled by Claims Settlement Agencies and assistance is handled by Speciality Group, well known for their experience in helping and, where necessary, repatriating the injured.

USEFUL INFORMATION
1. FLIGHTS
The closest airport to Klosters is Zurich. British Airways and Swiss both have regular direct flights from Heathrow and London City, while Swiss also operate
flights from Birmingham. Easyjet (from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester) and BMI (from Edinburgh and Manchester) provide direct flights too although they are
not as frequent. PT Ski will always be happy to discuss flights but do not arrange them on behalf of its customers, and the websites for the airlines mentioned

2. TRANSFERS
The transfer from Zurich to Klosters usually takes between 1 hour and 45 minutes and two hours. This will either be by PT Ski minibus or, on occasions, by
luxury coach or taxi. You will be met at the airport by a PT Ski member of staff (or the taxi driver if it is a taxi that has been arranged) who will then drive you to
the resort.
3. PASSPORTS AND VISAS
It is your responsibility to be in possession of a passport which is valid for the whole duration of your stay. At the time of writing British passport holders are not
required to have a visa to visit Switzerland. If you do not hold a British passport please check with your Embassy or Consulate to establish whether one is
required.
4. FAMILY ACCOMODATION
Most of our hotels offer various options for families including suites and interconnecting rooms. Often hotel rooms will take an extra bed and sometimes they can
even take two. We can help advise you as to what is the most suitable configuration for your requirements.
5. BOOKING OF OTHER SERVICES
PT Ski would be delighted to discuss with you and make bookings for other services in Klosters such as ski school, guides, restaurants, massages and spa
treatments. If you would like to book mountain guides or private instructors we suggest that you give us as much notice as possible as many of them get booked
up many months in advance. For nearly everything else two to three weeks’ notice will usually suffice. Although PT Ski can make the bookings on your behalf,
payment should be with the relevant supplier and your contract is with them.
6. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check in and check out times do vary from hotel to hotel, but typically check in is after 3pm on the day of arrival and check out is before 11am on the day of
departure. If on your day of departure you are on an evening flight and want a late check out or use of a day room, then this can be arranged by our staff in
Klosters subject to availability, although there may be an extra cost.
7. PRICES
PT Ski holidays are bespoke to each customer and quoted on an individual basis. Unless specified otherwise on your booking confirmation, prices include the
following:
- Transfer to and from Zurich Airport by a PT Ski minibus, luxury coach or taxi
- Half board accommodation (bed, breakfast and dinner)
- All local taxes
- PT Ski service in Klosters, including ski hosting if eligible.
The price does not include:
- Hotel extras such as wine at dinner, drinks at the bar and spa treatments
- Ski passes
- Ski and boot rental
- Any other item not specified above or on the booking confirmation.
8. SKI PASSES
Unless specifically requested, we will pre-order your ski passes and deliver them to your hotel. You will be invoiced for the cost of the ski passes and this will be
due along with the outstanding balance of your holiday. Photographs are not needed except for ski passes of 8 days or more. The cost of a 6 day ski pass for
the whole region is as follows:
Adult: - CHF 324.
Children: 13- 17 years old - CHF 227.
Children: 6 – 12 years old - CHF 130.
Children: 5 and under - Free
9. PAYMENT
Payment is by cheque or bank transfer and our bank details are as follows:

We also accept credit and debit cards (except Amex and Solo) although please note there is a 2% surcharge payable for credit card transactions

10. FINANCIAL PROTECTION
All of our customers can have extra peace of mind when making their holiday arrangements. When booking with us you are fully protected for the initial deposit
and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due
to our insolvency. PT ski is a member of ABTA with membership number Y2776. Holidays are protected by way of a bond held with ABTA and according to
ABTA’s rules. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you and abide by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. For a copy of the guide to ABTA’s scheme of

11. DATA PROTECTION
Information about you and members of your party including your names, contact details and any special needs, disabilities or dietary requirements is collected by
us when you request information or make a booking with us. This data is only used for the purposes of arranging your holiday and only relevant data is shared
with our suppliers so that they can provide the service booked. Otherwise no data is shared with or sold to any third party for marketing or other purposes.
